37,482 JOBS to be eliminated. The Liberal politicians still got their jobs, that's all that matters!

They should have bought shares of Netflix! Cheaper popcorn using Orville Redenbacher instead of paying $7.00 for a bucket.

Even if they end lock downs tomorrow a lot of people will not feel comfortable going, so it's still an industry that's going to suffer long-term.

People still like going out. Screw those jobs right? Screw livelihoods and families.

I feel safer going to a movie theater than Chicago.

This is an example of a company unable to innovate.

We all have 80" TVs, personally tuned sound systems, and more comfortable seating in our homes (or one of our friends does). Movies are released to streaming much quicker than they used to be released to DVD.

COVID simply brought to us sooner what was eventually going to happen with the movie theater industry.

Since this is a temporary closure, maybe they will come out of this stronger. The best innovation happens during these times.

The news article says a "temporary closure". Your post implies permanent.

Yeah, those damn liberal governors like Kemp, DeSantis, DeWine, and Abbott are killing jobs with their lockdowns!

What party do those overlords belong to again?

You do realize that Trump is not the only liberal that has taken over the republican party, right?
