Trump knows his bully schtick won't play in a virtual debate, where he would have to actually have a grasp of the issues and be able to articulate solutions and his platform for moving forward.
He doesn't want to play if he can't harass everyone in the room unchecked.
Joe should go ahead and participate. It will give him an hour and a half to make his case to 70 million voters without opposition.
I hope Joe does this.
If Trump doesn't want to participate, then so be it.
But the time has been reserved, everything's been arranged, the rest of us are all communicating virtually, why can't he?
He's had this miraculous recovery, feels the best he's felt in 20 years.
Imagine if it had been hacked, or if it was over Zoom. I agree wholeheartedly, 2020 could have ended after the 2nd Debate, and removed from the Calendar.

The don’t need to do a virtual debate, they could use plexiglass like the VP debate used.
