CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins bemoaned President Donald Trump taking off his mask when he returned to the White House from Walter Reed Medical Center late on Monday only to have her past actions with masks called into question by the Trump campaign.
The Trump campaign quickly hit back at Collins, highlighting a video clip from earlier this year where she immediately took her mask off inside the White House press briefing room — an enclosed indoor space where other people were present — after she apparently thought the cameras had been turned off following the end of a news conference.
Ah yes, very equivalent. Trump takes his mask of while literally shedding virus and contagious.
Far from other people while she took hers off with many people around her. Face it she is a big hypocrite.
I don't see anything wrong with him taking his mask off at the top of the balcony to speak. I am not thrilled with everything he said but I agree don't be afraid and don't let the virus dominate your life. That shouldn't mean don't be careful and take appropriate precautions.
She could not be sure of that when she took her mask off.
Pretty easy thing to keep track of if you actually test people entering the white house.
