Should've done it earlier. Damage has already been done, especially to ratings and to potential lost ticket holders next season, assuming arenas are allowed to have crowds again.
I personally don't care one way or another. They can do what they want and it won't affect whether I watch it or not (which doesn't happen much anyway). Even if I did, what they have or don't have on their attire has zero effect on me, so why be obsessed by it?

I can watch it and not have it bother me, but there intention is to make you pay attention and listen to their voice.
The problem is, the main emphasis of this entire movement is based on wildly exaggerated and sometimes false premises.
Lebron James said "we are hunted every day". This is a dumb, dangerous, and false statement by a very high profile and influential person. This is equally as dumb and dangerous as anything Trump has said. It's setting off a revolutionary and warlike response in some people, in communities where you already have too much violence and crime. Again, it's dumb, dumb, dumb. And the more it is embraced, the less anyone who is rational can convince the emotional and irrational to take a step back and think about what they are saying and how it ties to actual facts.
"We believe we are oppressed, we are angry about it, we don't want any authority to tell us we can't be angry and violent about it. Defund the police".
Everyone will be clamoring around the NBA and NFL etc.. the same as before.
This year obviously proves to be an awkward year in generally globally- get a gripe.
Personally- if this is their message and belief-good for them..as they decide to wear BLM pinky rings fine if not; no sweat.
Why would we have a problem with their display of dissatisfaction or concern? As they kneel, utilize three letters "BLM", wear specific colors or clothing etc.
Unless of course it makes you uneasy due to Subconscious discomfort or insecurities. Leave them be.
We're investing emotion and attaching our time to the wrong end of the equation. Building a nation and listening to the concerns at the very least will get you further.
Quite a few simple-minded liberals & conservatives.
