I don't know if talking about it is criminal... Concrete plans with real steps to carry it out would be... But I have to wait and see as the media only reported talking... I would also say the group is stupid for talking that kind of nonsense, they would have better results to launch a recall effort on her...
I have never seen so many so-called Americans supporting sedition against the government of the United States of America.
The President and the party of "law and order" Trump Supporters in this forum condemning violence and threats of violence against a liberal now....... crickets......... chirp chirp.... chirp chirp.....
Loose lips sink ships. Sounds like they told their plot to anyone who would listen.
Not sure why they would want to keep her, though.
Because it's almost certainly bull ****!
Invented plots to attack leaders has been the go-to modus operandi of despots throughout history.
The charges, whether valid or not, can be filed now to get the maximum political benefit.
Later, when the accused finally get their day in court - long after the election - they may be convicted of some minor weapons charge or they may be acquitted altogether.
It doesn't matter because, unlike the breaking news story of the "plot" being uncovered, if and when the case is tossed out on its ear and the prosecutors get their ass chewed by the presiding judge for bringing it, that story will be scarcely noticed.
We've been here before...
"The acquittals come two years after the police in southern Michigan, Ohio and Indiana rounded up the militia members, some of whom have remained in custody since then. The Federal Bureau of Investigation had used an undercover agent and paid informer to infiltrate the Hutaree for more than a year."
Where does it indicate that this group is "white supremacist"?
I only see mention of a Michigan militia group...
Yeah the story reads they are libertarian leaning and want small, constitutional government, but got to put that "white supremacist" label on them so everyone will oppose them more.
So, no evidence they had anything to do with "white supremacy", or gave two hoots about it.
Yet the thread's OP assigns that title to them anyway.
The board leftists are getting more and more like Pavlov's dogs every day. Say "militia", and they obediently drool and echo "white supremacists" as they have been trained.
And they wonder why nobody listens to them any more.
