Kamala Harris refused to admit Hugo Chávez’s court packing is on the table

Given Donny spent 1/2 the day calling her names, I think her time would be better spent telling him a few anatomically challenging things he could do. One being something Dick Cheney once told a sitting Senator to do while in the Senate Chamber. What goes around comes around.

Democrats can never tell the public what they really want to do.

Now, consider what kind of government leaders engages in Court packing?
.
See: Venezuela: Chávez Allies Pack Supreme Court

The Venezuelan Congress dealt a severe blow to judicial independence by packing the country’s Supreme Court with 12 new justices, Human Rights Watch said today. A majority of the ruling coalition, dominated by President Hugo Chávez’s party, named the justices late yesterday, filling seats created by a law passed in May that expanded the court’s size by more than half.

“Five years ago, President Chávez’s supporters helped to enshrine the principle of judicial independence in a new democratic constitution,” said José Miguel Vivanco, Americas director at Human Rights Watch. “Now, by packing the country’s highest court, they are betraying that principle and degrading Venezuelan democracy.”

.

And what has Chuck Schumer confirmed if the Democrat leadership wins the election?

.
Both Biden and Harris ..... and Schumer for that matter HAVE ANSWERED THE QUESTION.
They will Pack the Courts and the Democrats (unlike the Democrats in the FDR Era) will go along with it.

Absolutely NOT ...... I would never vote for anyone who did or even suggested such a seditious thing.
It means the "American System" is dead and done.

The socialist controlled Democrat Party Leadership is known for accusing others of what they themselves are guilty of.
I always wonder ...... exactly WHY do they truly believe the American Public is so Stupid that we can't recognize their Projection. They are eager to "Pack the Courts" and ergo, they figure the Patriots would also be eager to "Pack the Courts".

This is WHY they lose. Most Americans are NOT "stupid" - we can clearly see what they are doing and what they plan. Biden said it best today ....... Elect ME and then you will find out.

That's just not good enough to take a HUGE Gamble on the Destruction of the United States Democratic Republic.

Look, you are going to go against precedent and force through a nominee at the midnight hour because there's nothing in the constitution that says that you can't...
....so the Dems can go against precedent and add a justice because...well, I hope you aren't too dumb to figure out the next part of the statement....there's nothing in the constitution that says you can't.

You want to play "nah nah nah nah" political games when you have the advantage, then cry like insolent toddlers when the shoe is on the other foot.

Court packing, is when more justices are added to the Supreme Court than currently are seated—and has been discussed as a way Democrats might counteract an enduring conservative majority on the court if they win back the Senate and White House in 2020.

The current Administration has added new Supreme Court seats?

Joe Biden and Kamala D. Harris want elderly American citizens, who paid into Medicare all their lives, to surrender and share their healthcare revenue with millions of illegal entrants who have invaded America’s borders.

Unlike you, I worry about anyone changing our system of government into a third-world dictatorship like Venezuela, and that is what the Democrat Party Leadership is threatening if they get power. They want to add a number of new seats on the Supreme Court with hand picked Justices who will impose the Democrat Leadership's personal view of social justices, fairness and reasonableness, as the "rule of law".

I wish Kamala would have said No, even if she would be deciding on it, and overstepping Biden and Schumer's vagueness strategy to the question.

End of the day, Biden chose her as the running mate. So as a potential VP, her voice outranks Schumer in the Democratic Party currently.

If the Democrats win the Presidency and Senate, there are alternative ways to check the Supreme Court without packing it. I'm not sure why Schumer feels saying "all options are on the table" is the best way to answer that question. I think he just wants Democratic voters to not feel hopeless but adding more justices in any scenario will just backfire - so not sure why that is an option.

I can assure you Schumer was 100% serious and being honest when he indicated if given the opportunity, packing the Supreme Court "is on the table".
