If you're blaming the "left" instead of the President for empowering and enabling far-right militia groups, you're frankly in denial and not very bright. Case in point, for 8 years there was a man in the White House that the far right HATED.....and they did nothing. They sat on their dimpled asses eating funyons and drinking mountain dew. So, if that paragon of everything the far right despises could not get them to turn off Honey Boo Boo and climb into their pick ups to "defend America", nothing on the left will do it. It took their ringleader, the lying, cheating, philandering game show host to get them riled up.

I'm not sure what anyone expected after Trump tweeted, "Liberate Michigan!" Words have power and the Great Divider in Chief has been deliberately riling up the mentally unstable right wing wackos for years.
It's real alright. The ultra right wing militia group known as the "Three Percent" has spawned hundreds of "Patriot" groups - especially in the rural West. My town has been subjected to the antics of the Montezuma County Patriots group which is mostly made up of members of the local bikers' group.
The MC Patriots have attempted to intimidate members of a local church sponsored group called the March for Peace and Justice. The Peace and Justice folks are non violent and normally walk down Main Street every Saturday at noon, holding signs and remaining silent.
The Patriots have chosen to confront these members of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, calling them a "terrorist" group. They shout obscenities and threats at these peaceful protestors, telling them that they don't belong here and threatening to run them out of town. One of the protestors is a black woman, and she is often the object of the Patriots' ire - they call her the "N" word and tell her that she will be sorry if she ever shows her face here again.
When members of the Peace and Justice march return to the courtyard of St. Barnabas Church after their weekly march is completed, Patriots on motorcycles buzz the Church, circling the block many times just to make sure that their message of intimidation is received by all involved.
I guess that this is what loyal Trump supporters do these days in order to prove to the country what loyal Americans they are.
The FBI and CIA have been describing the problem that far-right extremism, and militias in the US are becoming a real problem in this country as compared to Islamic extremism. Everyone here wanted to avoid that and said it was BS but let's get real.
How many more plots are probably out there for these far-right groups, militias and white supremacists?
It's getting worse and worse. Trumps rhetoric is not helping any of this and their cause. Just listen to the last debate. This country seems to be going downhill.

And yet the FBI Director, a Trump appointee, had no problem drawing that distinction.
But you know what a real threat to Americans? These far-right groups who also might hate immigrants and are racist also. And to think, many of these immigrants make way more money and are way more functional than these idiotic groups who do nothing all day other than to think of stupid plans like kidnapping the MI governor.
America is going downhill and it's up to us to fix it.
Are these so-called far right groups looting and rioting in our cities? No one hates legal immigrants it's illegal aliens that we object to. Nothing racist about wanting our immigration laws respected and enforced. The type of people you are describing are way in the minority in this country. Most conservative Americans are not radical and are working.

The country was already going downhill after Ferguson. Why would you not expect these types of groups to increase in view of the liberal policies in these Democratic cities where they allow the protests to continue? People are sick of it and will fight back to protect themselves and their properties.
I hate to see these groups grow - but you only have the liberals to blame. Someone has to take control.
