Did you even read the article you linked? It wasn't some Biden supporter trying to rip down a Trump sign. It was a city worker, ordered to take it down because it violated a city ordinance regarding how close to the roadway any sign may be.

You are celebrating this?

How to needlessly endanger and injure people who are just doing their jobs by acting like a psychopathic turd is more like it.

So from a dollars and cents standpoint (i.e. taxpayer dollars), is the solution:

a) The city employee gets out of his truck and removes illegal sign

or

b) The city employee pulls over. Calls his supervisor. Supervisor calls someone who maintains phone numbers for residents (who the town clerk?), Town clerk looks up address, finds resident's phone number, Town clerk calls resident (calls repeatedly if no answer), explains situation, town clerk calls road crew supervisor, road crew supervisor calls employee and says remove sign or land owner removes sign.

In my book the simplest answer is the right answer.
In the money wasting boondoggle world of democrat voting union thug government “workers”, #2 is the most likely way to accomplish this task.

"According to WDIV, the homeowner said she has had several campaign signs for President Donald Trump stolen, including a large banner. She said she told sheriff's deputies that some signs disappeared from her yard recently but were returned. She said she had been unaware of the razor blades."

Not one person vilifying the homeowner has denounced the thieves who have taken her signs and banner prior to this incident. No one has the right to steal political signs, but it has happened with sickening frequency in every election year. Where are all the comments by the hypocrites who are suddenly (and selectively I might add) pro law?

With all the fake hate crimes being perpetrated by the left, it is possible someone stole the sign and returned it with razor blades. Not saying this happened but it is certainly possible....it's not like it would be an isolated incident, now would it?

In this day and age of emptying prisons for covid, do you really think someone will be going to jail over this?

More likely scenario is city worker will use his boo boo to get a disability settlement with the city

I suspect it's likely been code enforcement who had to remove her prior signs and banner.

And I don't believe her claim that she doesn't know who placed the razor blades on the signs one bit. Not for a second.

Who would do that? Replace someone's Trump yard signs with signs containing razor blades and not tell the home owner? NO one, is who. The chances that the homeowner herself would be victim of the sign are overwhelming - she'd say oh great, the sign is returned! not exactly where I wanted it, or it's not quite straight - OWWWWW.

She needs to be charged with injury to a government employee for knowingly placing a sign booby trapped with razor blades that she fully believes will be grabbed by someone.

Does anyone need to denounce thievery, really? Why? That's like saying "no one is denouncing murder". Duh, because everyone knows/recognizes it's bad.

I don't like the razor blades, but have absolutely no problem with this:
