Eh, when you generate the kind of money the 10 largest cities generate, you are not interested in being ruled by a religious hierarchy while they take your money. Remember no taxation without representation? Time to let some metros go their own way. The beauty of it is watching the religious right see how much they have been depending on our money. But by then, who cares, we would be free of them.

In all seriousness, those blue urban cities have the widest income gaps. Explain that. Why haven't the Democrats who govern those cities fixed their income inequality problem?
Feel free to create a thread on that. This is about breaking up the country. Glad to hear you support it.

Are you saying the colonials weren't patriotic when they chose to leave England? Being held hostage by the religious right is not what freedom and liberty mean. Being ruled by a party that changes the rules depending on whatever favors them is not freedom and liberty. Working to overturn an election via the Supreme Court is not freedom and liberty. Patriotism is not a willingness to do what evil rules demand. When a black man was elected president, the South made all kinds of noise about seceding. We were all "can't we all just get along?" Not anymore. I am waiting for the first utterance of secession from the other side so we can rush in and say DEAL! We need to stop giving our money to giving our tax dollars to a country that likes to say "defund them" in return. Let the religious right become Gilead without us.

You didn't answer the question... Blue urban cities have the widest income gaps. Explain that. Why haven't the Democrats who govern those cities fixed their income inequality problem?

Again - create a thread. I'm not going to waste my time replying to all your off-topic posts only to have them removed. Maybe read the TOS.

The Deep South can be a refuge for the evangelicals with abortion being illegal.

I don't understand why no aspiring political candidate isn't bringing this issue up.

It would certainly make the election season far more interesting, watching the elections in 4 or 5 countries within this country.
agreed. we have over 330 million people and for some reason people believe that we should all be in the same country.

you could even give people different federal government options within the states. while states may be geographically limited, the federal government has no need to be limited to specific areas. let people within the same state choose different federal governments.

IOW, You can't explain the unexplainable. Blue urban cities have the widest income gaps, and their Democrat leaders have done NOTHING to fix their income inequality problems.

Huge disincentive to vote Democrat, as Democrats quite clearly enable the wide income gaps predominantly present in blue cities/states.

Clarify. Do you mean at any time in my life? Otherwise you are not making sense.

That way, the people can decide how to run their states.
The problems we have today states do not want to handle on a state level. States balked on setting up Obamacare exchanges and expanding Medicaid. A number of states haven't raised minimum wage in a decade, some don't even have one.

Yes.

How does that change the applicability of the 10th Amendment. It doesn't. Any state can have an issue with the Fed Gov if the Fed Gov oversteps its Constitutional limits. The Fed Gov's powers are specifically limited in Article 1 Section 8 of the US Constitution. Per the 10th Amendment, all other powers are reserved to the respective states.

Redrawing the border just means a nice amicable divorce and we can be the nation of the Salish Sea.

You guys can create your Handmaids and rename yourselves Gilead.
Here are these liberal fantasies again. Why do they bring up "Handmaid's Tale" so often? It is weird.

I would love to get rid of libs and just have rational people who will work in the US. The libs could have all the "diversity", all the transexuals, pedophiles, and homeless (who are staunch dems).

Liberals are the ones who are the real totalitarians, advocating violence to achieve their political goals and focusing on taking other people's money. Have you been in a coma for the last four months?
