Insurance doesnt cover vandalism during rioting though.
I wouldnt blame this on the 'democrats' though, this kind of thing has been happening for many years, It happened in Lexington after UK won the national championship in bball, they turn cars over, start fires, break glass, etc
Not something I would do to celebrate a win.
Yep, it's best to stay away from Lexington on game day. One year they even destroyed someone's house and it had to be condemned. They have set cars and furniture on fire. They flipped and rolled a guy's car totaling it, and of course insurance wouldn't pay for the damages. UK fans especially love to burn couches. The craiglist ads near game day would have free couches and advertise how burnable the couch was and other such verbiage. And UK fans do not come out and condemn the actions. Instead, they think it's funny. And they even blame the victims. Like when the house was destroyed, for example, UK fans were quoted as saying that the owner should have expected that for living so close to the stadium. How would you like to have your home destroyed because the local university wins a game?
LMAO...you’re obviously not an NHL fan. Vancouver 2011 was INSANE. So was the ‘94 riot in Vancouver.
I was 7 when the Philly riot broke out INSIDE the stadium during a game against the Blues. The damn players ran into the stands and started fighting the fans. It was total pandemonium. Remember it like it was yesterday.
The Bulls had rioting the year they won their first championship.
In subsequent years and I lived in the city at the time the police presence around a potential championship winning game was *huge*. I remember being outside Wrigley field after their 2nd or 3rd and there were teams of cops on every major corner. EACH corner to 4 teams at an intersection...and cops on horseback.
I agree with posters here that it's not anything new.
