It's not like the numbers could go down. The numbers can only go up.
There's nothing Trump could have done to stop a virus.
We should have had similar covid approaches like New Zealand (25 deaths) and Taiwan (7 deaths) that did great...non mask wearing super spreader POTUS has blood on his hands with 215K deaths so far and rising numbers.
Cases have been soaring for 7 months according to the media, people are still paying attention? Still averaging around 50 hospitalized any given day in my county of 400,000. I love that they still show cases that were active 7 months ago to really stoke fear, gotta have that covid counter up. Its a clown show. Mask mandates make no difference either. County next door doesn't have one and the numbers are actually slightly better
Thanksgiving will certainly be a deadly holiday this year. They should ban any gatherings involving anyone from outside of a household. Christmas/holidays will be the same.
Nope: California had that rule for 7 months but everyone I know was breaking it (especially young people who either live alone or with their parents) by the second month. Our governor finally made it "legal" for up to 3 households to gather outdoors a week ago. There's no going back and no way to reinforce it unless we went the way of China which would be impossible in the U.S. because the U.S. liberal media and government allow mass protests and even destructive rioting with thousands of strangers marching shoulder to shoulder screaming "BLM" IF aligned with their leftist values. I am predicting mass post-election protest and riots if Trump is reelected and the media will endorse these protests either claiming that they don't spread Covid OR that the cause is worthy enough to risk Covid while continuing to wag their fingers at family gatherings. The cat's out of the bag in the U.S. and there are only two ways out: 1) herd immunity like Sweden or 2) a safe and effective vaccine available to everyone and taken by most. There is literally no chance to contain the virus in the U.S. the way China has the power to do so.
