What do you owe and what’s your worth?
Forbes is very likely HIGHLY overvaluing his assets. If Trump has assets that are TRULY worth $3.6 billion, and he’s a billion in hock, he’d sell it all and take the leftover liquidity if he were REALLY smart. That’s a frighteningly high debt load to be carrying around just to make yourself look like the big shot that you really aren’t.

I suspect that his assets are a lot closer in worth to that debt total.

And, if he truly is worth 3.6 bil, it’s about time he paid back all those contractors and tradespeople he stiffed.

If you'd like me to do the math by dividing those 2 number for you....I can if you'd like.

That's a 1.2% failure rate!

Now they're telling me he might have to sell a building to get out of debt...

Is the OP a Trump supporter bragging about Trump's achievements?

Otherwise this makes no sense.

No way in hell is he holding $3.6 Billion in assets. That’s gotta be a strong exaggeration.

Do you have any idea based on Trump’s income how much he’s saving? I would wager he’s saving over 1000 times what you make.
TX has no income tax and they've got property taxes that can choke a horse! Gotta get the $ somehow!

NV has no income tax, and again, gotta get the $ somehow!

Trump could be worth $0. His own son in law is worth $800 million, he has nothing to worry about.

The “Trump is broke” card is not a very logical one that the left likes to play.

No you don't. If you care about the national debt, you'd be fuming right now with how much debt Trump had put this country in.

If I have $100 million and my FIL is $1 billion in debt.....

I will gladly pay for his bankruptcy lawyer and give him shelter. Nothing more.

Based on Trump's income, he'd be saving $0 by moving to a tax-friendly state.

Because his income is $0, based on his tax returns.

Besides, there is NO way no How Trump moves to a state like Texas. He is not down with the people that worships him. He wants to be part of the Hollywood/NYC liberal elites, he just kept getting rejected.

Correction, his SIL and daughter are worth $1.1 billion

I guess Trump doesn’t have to worry about that pesky debt after all. He could be worth $0, and still live a billionaire life.
