You’d be a fool to not want to be in his financial position. Your TDS self conveniently left out his assets and worth which were included in the same article.
“It is important to note, as Trump did Thursday night, that he also has significant assets. Forbes values them at $3.66 billion, enough to make his net worth an estimated $2.5 billion. He is not broke, despite what many critics claim.”
What do you owe and what’s your worth?
Forbes is very likely HIGHLY overvaluing his assets. If Trump has assets that are TRULY worth $3.6 billion, and he’s a billion in hock, he’d sell it all and take the leftover liquidity if he were REALLY smart. That’s a frighteningly high debt load to be carrying around just to make yourself look like the big shot that you really aren’t.
I suspect that his assets are a lot closer in worth to that debt total.

And, if he truly is worth 3.6 bil, it’s about time he paid back all those contractors and tradespeople he stiffed.
I moved from California (10% income tax) to a state with 0 income tax. You think that’s shabby? I think it’s smart. Any idea how many businesses have done the same?
Do you have any idea based on Trump’s income how much he’s saving? I would wager he’s saving over 1000 times what you make.
TX has no income tax and they've got property taxes that can choke a horse! Gotta get the $ somehow!
NV has no income tax, and again, gotta get the $ somehow!
He's a billionaire twice over, when you subtract the additional 1/2 billion worth of debt. I'm sure most Americans would happily exchange money problems with their/your POTUS.
Trump could be worth $0. His own son in law is worth $800 million, he has nothing to worry about.
The “Trump is broke” card is not a very logical one that the left likes to play.
It certainly is to the left who thinks adding 2.5 trillion to our debt is perfectly reasonable as long as they get their pork.
Its hard to take people who support Pelosi seriously when they talk about anyone's debt. I don't care about Trump's debt, that's his problem. I care about our national debt. That is our problem.
No you don't. If you care about the national debt, you'd be fuming right now with how much debt Trump had put this country in.

Based on Trump's income, he'd be saving $0 by moving to a tax-friendly state.
Because his income is $0, based on his tax returns.
Besides, there is NO way no How Trump moves to a state like Texas. He is not down with the people that worships him. He wants to be part of the Hollywood/NYC liberal elites, he just kept getting rejected.
I guess Trump doesn’t have to worry about that pesky debt after all. He could be worth $0, and still live a billionaire life.
