Trump does have the Russians on his side, they are spreading disinformation on social media. And the sad thing is, some people are going o fall for it.
Like what? I haven't seen anything that is anti Biden nor anything pro Trump?
Trump does not have Russia on his side and so what if he did because Biden has China on his and who is a bigger super power than communist China?
And before you answer, 225,000+ Americans have died, and covid-19 cases are up in 34 states over the last week. FIVE states set one-day record high cases since Thursday.
Trump is the commander in chief, the buck stops with him. He is the highest-ranking person in federal gov't, so he ultimately is responsible for everything that happens under his watch, especially something like pandemic efforts.
So I ask again. You say Fauci has been a disaster. And Trump has been....what?
First of all, people always rally behind the president in time of crisis. Any half-way decent job would have generated a large approval ratings.
Second, every leaders from Newsom to Breed to DeWine who handled the pandemic well is getting sky high numbers; and have pretty much sealed their re-election victories should they chose to run again.
Trump has basically been handed the opportunity of a lifetime - all he had to do was literally just hand the task off to Fauci and take the credits. Imagine how pretty the Republicans would be looking if Trump had knocked this out of the park like other leaders? He'd easily be looking at a sure-win in the re-election.
But instead, he called it a hoax, told people not to wear masks, completely mismanaged the crisis; and tried to play off the pathetic result like it's some kind of conspiracy against him.
In other words, Trump pulled a Trump and now he's right where he always is - down in the dump, fighting an uphill battle, hoping for someone to come in and save him. The sad part is despite all that, he still has a chance to win because our messed up system values land mass over people.

Russia isn't on Trumps side. They'd really like the US to turn a blind eye so they can retake Eastern Ukraine and gain control of the pipeline, refinery, and military base there.

Fauci...who first said there was nothing to worry about? Or the Fauci who said he would institute a nationwide lockdown until there were zero cases? The Fauci who is against mask wearing...or the Fauci who is for mask wearing?

You are just flat out wrong. The media controls the narrative and your mind. The fact you reference the hoax comment taken out of context proves that point. The media would NEVER allow a positive Trump covid response narrative. If he took a backseat to Fauci it would be spun into Trump is a weak leader and can’t be out front.
I agree his messaging could be better, but from the federal level they have done their job...federal resources were used in hot spots, Travel was shut down, PPE shortages were addressed, first relief bill was done quickly, Operation Warp Speed is working. Im still of the opinion masks mandates and lockdowns are best handled by the states based on individual need.
You may be onto something here. Why do we need to waste money on stimulus? Lost your job? Just let the media convince you you are still working. No money for food? The media will tell you you're not hungry. Got Covid? Let the media convince you you are healthy.
But it's a matter of fact COVID1-19 is at worst a mild and brief illness for most people. So they are going to keep coming to Trump's rallies. Mainly only people age 65 or older may need to think twice. 80% of all deaths, due to covid happen to people 65 or older.
