Trump was/is on their pay to play schemes of many Democrats and the dirt foreign nations have on them.
Hillary used the Foundation to launder it. Biden used his family.
They knew Trump was kicking a hornets nest, and they had to shut him up. Sad truth is, so many of the establishment politicians and bureaucrats in Washington do some of the same corrupt get rich cronyism that Biden did, albeit not on the same grand scale as Biden.

It's the reason Biden is the nominee. He was selected by the power structure because his candidacy is an effective shield against Trump's investigations. If Trump were to blow the lid off the Democrat corruption wrt Ukraine, China, Iran, and whoever else they're in bed with, it would look like a politically motivated action.
Biden's candidacy is fake. It's a dog and pony show. Vaporware.
Everyone knows who's going to win this election. The Democrats have known for a year, at least. Biden is the nominee so that he can't be investigated. Trump found a way to bring up the corruption anyway, through Hunter.
Biden finished 5th or 6th in Iowa. Way down the list. Then he failed to capture New Hampshire, which should have been a slam dunk for the native of that region. I don't recall if he got Nevada or not, but what I do remember is the media pulling for him to win South Carolina. The nominee should have been effectively set by then, and he was nowhere near the top.
He was installed as the candidate because not doing so would have been exceptionally bad for many in the Democrat party and beyond. He's a shield. This has been my position since long before he "won" the nomination, and I predicted he'd get it for that reason. I realize there's confirmation bias at play here, but I have to say, every day, it's looking more and more like I nailed it, very early on.
Power, money, and kid touching. They all got to go!
