This is a heck of a look for the covid-denier. Melania Trump canceled her planned events with Donald in PA today because she is under the weather with covid sequelae. I don't know what is worse, her canceling or going and hacking like crazy at the podium. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

I'm truly sorry to hear this.

She was hoping to get out this last week. I hope it is just fatigue and nothing too serious.

While I enjoy the optics of Trump out on the trail spewing lies and disinformation downplaying covid while his wife is still too sick to travel, I have no malice toward her whatsoever. In fact, I pity her. And I do hope she recovers quickly and without lingering effects that so many, even at her age are burdened with.

It's only been three weeks, but she may be a long hauler.

Quote:
Trump wrote an essay last week that her symptoms of Covid-19, "hit me all at once and it seemed to be a roller coaster." She described having body aches, a cough, headaches and feeling extreme fatigue.
She is only doing what her husbands wants for the sake of his ambition.

From the article you posted, it appears this is as a precaution. Sort of an overreaction or celebration that you seem to be having. This also happens with the flu, and all the liberals would be all over themselves being critical if they saw her cough during the trip. You REALLY need to look at the facts about COVID 19 and stop watching CNN for "facts"!

If what her spokesman has said, that she "continues to feel better every day", that's not the typical course of COVID, especially an illness lasting this long.

She is now in the time frame where heart damage and blood clots occur and symptoms start shifting from primarily fatigue and cough, to completely separate problems. I wonder if she received the same drug regimen, at home, that the President received?

edited to add:

This article seems to describe the more typical COVID experience, for those who have difficulty recovering. She stated last week she had recovered, and had made plans to travel. But this "roller coaster of symptoms" has caused her to become ill again. This article does answer the question - no, she didn't receive the same therapeutic array of medications the President received.
