We have seen over the years things are achieved 1 small step at time.
MANY dem politicians have expressed they would LIKE to ban all guns, which is why we have OVER 20,000 gun LAWS on the books, which have achieved NOTHING, just look at chicago and balt, for mostly states.
I suggest you READ the ny and calif. gun laws as a starter.
Let me repeat OVER 20,000 gun laws on the books DESPITE the 2nd Amendment stating, "The RIGHT of the PEOPLE to KEEP and BEAR arms shall NOT be INFRINGED".
Here is your chance to defend your ant-gun position. Explain to us how ANY of those over 20,000 law do NOT "INFRINGE "on "to keep and BEAR ARMS"
And we hear from many on the left how much the love and abide the "LAW"!
You do NOT need a physch report or a "permit" and have to take a course, which YOU have pay for all of them, to exercise your 1st amendment rights, so explain WHY we need them to exercise our 2nd amendment rights.
As has been said, take EVER one of the over 20,00o gun laws that VIOLATE the 2nd amendmet, and apply them to the 1st amendment.

We still have our firearms. Yes indeed. Because the agenda if those who wish to see us disarmed has been defeated time and again. And that agenda is not a lie.
Nor will it disappear. That agenda has been repeated ad nauseam very publicly and with vehemence by many leftist politicians and vocal groups who support them and their agenda of disarmament of American citizens.
If it was possible to do so these enemies of the Constitution would not be talking. Other than to issue orders to forcibly relieve us of our firearms.
But the knowledge of what would transpire in that attempt keeps them from doing more than talk. The anti 2A rhetoric spewing from the holes under their noses is indeed a lie.

What Creepy Uncle Joe, Karmilla, and the rest of the radical loony left doesn't understand is that nothing they do will keep firearms off the streets and out of the hands of criminals. 1000 new laws won't make a difference. Just enforce the laws that are already there.
This is just another reason why Biden & the left are a danger to Americans. Taking away rights, liberties, and freedoms is not a good thing and goes against the principles on which this country was founded.

The 1994 “assault weapons ban” which included standard capacity magazines .....google it. The Democrats lost the House in the midterms because they voted for it even Bill Clinton said so it stopped further gun control regulations

Public safety is certainly not a priority in the anti 2A movement. But it makes for good melodramatic rhetoric aimed (pun intended) at invoking emotion driven support of their agenda.
Like the always dramatic but never accurate use of made up technical terminology about firearms and the citing of so called "trauma surgeons" talking about the "horrific and untreated" wounds that projectiles fired from an AR 15 inflict.
But those same bullets fired from any other firearm are nowhere near as destructive. But gey, a DOCTOR said this so it has to be true. These cretins entire platform is based on outright lies, conjured statistics, made up jargon that even SciFi literature envies and justifying it all by claiming public safety is what drives them.
The plumb fantastical terminology these people come up with and the well beyond exaggerations they use to describe the capabilities of firearms just go beyond the pale. And they would be truly hilarious if people weren't actually believing this nonsense.
And repeating it as immutable fact. Because it all sounds so SCARY man!! Anyone with any "common sense" would be frightened and see that we need to do something.
What sort of monster would argue against banning such dangerous devices and taking them out of civilian hands!? "Weapons of war" the sole purpose of which is to now down hundreds of people with a single pull of a trigger.
Think of the CHILDREN!! Oh my yes, the people making these impassioned pleas have only the public good at heart. Why else would they be bringing all this irrefutable information to the table?
And bleating like newborn miniature goats throngs flock to their banner armed with all these "facts" ready to take on the "gun lobby" and the packs of baccy drooling backwards "trailer trash" that make up their ranks.
It's all so very....moving. Like Michael Moore's bowels the morning after an anti 2A fundraising dinner where high fiber content was heaped on the plates. And spiked with Ex Lax.
