Do you always believe everything you read? Of course he isn't going to double anyone's rent. And as for the radical right, how about some of the radical left? It works both ways in case you didn't know that

Biden has told you he's going to raise your taxes.

When taxes go up, prices go up.

The businesses pass those tax increases onto the consumer...or in this case, the tenant. In reality, this person is telling them the truth, whereas others don't discuss anything, they just raise the prices.

You'll notice that he stated, in the letter: "A LOT more in taxes, utilities, gasoline, groceries, new permits, fees, and regulations..." Yeah, that's reality. And notice that he said in the letter that because of those increases, rent MAY double to cover the costs.

In other words, a business person is telling his tenants the truth.

Not surprising that the left has a melt down over this.
He may not be lying, but voter intimidation is illegal, so I think a judge could interpret this in different ways.

As to whether or not it is 'lying' - he's making a future prediction that he knows nothing about. Nobody has done anything yet.

By using your logic one could also say:

Trump has told you he wants to make the payroll tax cuts permanent.

Payroll taxes fund Social Security and Medicare.

Therefore, Americans, your Social Security benefits will be cut
.

Not lying. But it sounds pretty threatening and it is also based on speculation as your example is.

Can't blame him. He's going to have to pay a lot more in taxes; it has to come from somewhere.

As Oblubber said, elections have consequences.

That's when the Democrats swallow hard and realize Trump will be with you 4 MORE Years!
