Is it true that it is because it will be a tax cut for the rich who can afford all the healthcare they need?
If they succeed in the supreme court now, all the effects of Covid infection that people are suffering from now will be pre~existing condition that insurance will NOT cover. Why are they on causing misery for people who are already suffering from unemployment, bankruptcies, and Covid?

No, it's because it's a bad law. It drove up premiums and deductibles for EVERYONE. Access is limited in many places. People can't even afford to use their plans.

The only accomplishment Trump has in his first term is slashing taxes for the wealthiest Americans. His plan is to surely kill the ACA and let those without health insurance wither and die, because he doesn't care abuot anyone but himself. Those Trump supporters who lose coverage still think that they will get something better in return.

They're in for a rude awakening.

It did drive up premiums and deductibles, and don't forget, most of the policies had out-of-pocket maximums that would make a Vegas call girl smile.

We learned ALL we needed to know about "government" when it took the Obama administration $1 BILLION just to build the website, which was so riddled with security issues that most intelligent people wouldn't put their information into it.

It is a bad law, designed to BE a bad law. A law so bad that people would demand "Medicare For All", Single Payer", call it what you will, socialized medicine, no private health care.

Because the People didn’t want it, it’s garbage legislation and we were lied to repeatedly and directly so they could get just barely enough support to force it through and shove it down our throats.

That’s why.

The biggest farce is in the name. There was nothing affordable about it. It was also a job killer.

No, it isn’t true. What is true is that the Unaffordable Care Act, despite the fast and loose interpretation ar the SCOTUS level, is completely unconstitutional. There is nothing in the constitution which gives government the power to force you to do business with a third party simply because you are alive.

Trump slashed taxes for the working class, and actually gave the wealthy elites in Dem run states with insanely high personal property taxes a tax increase by limiting SALT deductions. I know it doesn’t fit your narrative, but that’s how reality works sometimes.

Yea, ACA isn't great. But taking it away solves nothing, only making health care less affordable. The GOP needs to come up with a real solution. But in the end, affordable health care and selling it for profit are juxtaposed goals, they are not compatible. Treat health care like a utility. Covering pre-existing conditions, rights of an independent arbiter when there is an appeal, all guaranteed under ACA are thorns to the GOP.
