The problem here is that most polls still show the Democrat winning, and have for weeks. And this is important because a TON of ballots have already been cast. Those numbers are now done. The Republicans would need to move the polling by far far more then even the OP has mentioned.

so yeah, place is hard to call,m but Id argue for the Democrat still at this point. Although im sure we will see folks on the right point to low quality polls that show something different while they ignore dozens of others as they cherry pick data that makes them happy. Realitys gonna be a bit harsh on them.

If McSally can consistently beat Kelly by the same margins in polls from now until election day she might have a chance, but I dont see that happening.

Sinema actually seems like a very strong candidate. She will stay elected for a long time if she decides to stay in politics. (This coming from a republican)

Worst thing for sinemas career would be a Kelly win. Then she goes hard left and reveals her hand. Then she'll be on the chopping block every election. Might still win, but she'll expose her true colors.

She did a much better job of playing the role of a relative moderate than I ever thought she would. If she keeps it up, I agree, she'll be around in the Senate for a long time.

That's your incorrect theory. I think you've watched The Manchurian Candidate one too many times....

She's not up for re-election until 2024. If Arizona continues to drift center/left and the Republicans continue to drift right she might be saved by Demographics alone. There are large numbers of retirees, educated transplants, Californians, and younger Hispanics (and younger voters in general) who will be added to the voting pool by then. A lot of the older Arizonans who were loyal R are also going to have passed or potentially moved close to family elsewhere. Its the inverse of Arkansas and Missouri seeing Dems hand on until the last 5 0r 6 years and then be completely wiped off the map.

She's an Aries, maybe that's why she's not likeable?

“Chrome dome”? My wife and I think that loathsome swine looks more like a big eared bowling ball. God help us if he gets elected.

I find it reprehensible that Kelly does not want to reveal his position on guns or all the money he received from Bloomberg one of the most vociferous gun control advocates that ever was. Kelly obviously must know that Arizona is one of if not thee most 2nd Amendment friendly states in the union? Likewise he doesn't want to bring up guns. Any politician who tries to hide their intentions does not deserve to get elected, EVER!!!

With threats to pack the court, statehood for DC and Puerto Rico, eliminating the electoral college, if the Democrats take the senate our days as a Constitutional Republic are over. We will become something that this country was never intended to be. That's what's at stake this coming election.

Quote:
Constitutional Republic:

A Constitutional Republic is a form of government where the head of state and other officials are elected as representatives of the people, representatives mandated to govern according to existing constitutional law. It is because of this mandate that the elected class in a Constitutional Republic is limited in their power over the citizenry. The United States of America was created as and intended to survive as a Constitutional Republic.

Our Constitutional Republic is separated into three separate but equal branches of government; the Executive, Legislative and Judicial, represented by the Presidency, Congress and the Courts. Because of this no branch has a rein on absolute power thus assuring that there will be checks and balances to the governmental system and protection for the rule of law.

Through the elected representation employed by our Constitutional Republic the influence of the majority is tempered by protections for individual rights as mandated by constitutional law. Our form of government is deliberate in its attempt to thwart majoritarianism, thereby protecting political dissent and individuals and minority groups from the "tyranny of the majority" by placing checks on the power of the majority of the population. The power of the majority of the people is checked by limiting that power to electing representatives who are required to legislate with limits of overarching constitutional law which a simple majority cannot modify.

"A pure unbridled democracy is a political system in which the majority enjoys absolute power by means of democratic elections. In an unvarnished democracy, unrestrained by a constitution, the majority can vote to impose tyranny on themselves and the minority opposition. They can vote to elect those who will infringe upon our inalienable God-given rights. Thomas Jefferson referred to this as elected despotism in Notes on the State of Virginia (also cited in Federalist 48 by Madison):"
