The same argument has been made about jews by some people also.. that they take over the banking system and turn it against the common folk... they always got kicked out of countries for hundreds of years... really you could expand this to include any group of people that get too much power. It's just human nature for people to want to live in an echo chamber of like minded thinkers and push out anyone not part of that group.
Are there elites trying to purposely force feed developed nations refugees and immigrants to dilute the base of power? That is mere speculation by conspiracy related people. It certainly goes on though, usually kept out of the media spotlight as much as possible... they'd rather we be more worried about gay marriage or abortion... that's called distraction, or misdirection. They talk about the issues they don't care about to distract you from what they do... assuming you believe this conspiracy....
The progressives very much believe in the "immigration without assimilation" that the above poster mentioned... they will tell you this openly.
The French allowed their political leadership to actively import Muslim refugees that mostly don't want to produce, nor assimilate, but suck up the benefits of their Welfare State. Many are violent, lawless, and just want to consume welfare benefits. It is not a good model for future success. Many realize that now, but it is too late. Same with Sweden.

They are mostly there as a disruptive influence to give the elites an excuse to make more restrictive laws against everybody else. They are a tool to these progressive utopian/communist types, to be used and discarded when their usefulness is up, or these same people refuse to comply with the new laws.
The elite use minority groups to stir dissent and allow them to seize more power. It's their modus operandi. The fact that most of these refugees are mostly males makes it worse.. it's not a good thing to have a society with too many males and a shortage of females. That leads to further instability that necessitates more regulation. If these refugees were 85% young females it would do the opposite of the intended effect.
It takes a teacher to have his head chopped off for the French to wake up. I will never go there again. They ruined a very special place. All self-inflicted. America was heading down the same path until Trump showed up. And the left wants him gone so they can continue the destruction.

Cutting off somebody’s head, a teacher of all things no less, was really unnecessary. They need to channel this negativity and anger into something more productive and demonstrate in an orderly and more civilized and cultured fashion.
That would be a most refreshing and positive change of pace for all.
Never understood why widespread immigration was permanent. When a self destructing country like Syria empties out during war, countries who took in the refugees should be sending people back to reestablish their lives in their home countries and rebuild
