Liberalism also manifests in many ways outside of government. Often it takes the form of non-governmental agencies, or charities or other organizations, where people put their own ideals directly into practice.

Authoritarianism suppresses the people's ability to work for meaningful change. It disables them, and they must accept the status quo and the standards established for them by the powers in charge. Liberalism dies under authoritarian government. It thrives in a free republic.

No liberal will accept authoritarian rule. It is contrary to everything they believe.
So speech codes, riots, doxxing, Critical Race Theory struggle sessions, lockdowns, and arrests of people attending weddings or walking on the beach?

Stop.

And what's scarier is it's the frog in boiling water syndrome, the change has been gradual enough that they think it's the Democrats going left while they remain the same. I blame Dinesh D'Souza and Ben Shapiro and all their gaslighting

Both parties have people who are authoritarian but that doesn't mean the parties are defined by that. As a person who finally managed to remove myself under the control of authoritative individuals, my observations tell me that they really don't recognize themselves that way.

Their controlling behavior is applicable to the other party members or to those who are not true party loyalists. They let their closest allies get around their controlling policies. (This is what Jared meant when he talked about how to be successful.)

Does keeping the borders closed mean wage suppression for those who do migrate here legally and illegally, especially those who work on farms (which are mostly Republican areas.)?

Here is the money quote of the study:

Quote:
Our study found that Republicans wanted to shut down peaceful protests that were smashing things, attacking police, looting, attacking others violently for thoughts, and committing arson. They also claimed that the spike in murders was a result of this lawlessness.

We woke social scientists determind that shutting down these peaceful protesters was authoritarian as it limited leftist anarchy.

Social and religious conservatives have usually been much more prone to an authoritarianism, "small government" mantra notwithstanding...

Dinesh D'Souza and Ben Shapiro Tell the truth of the Democratic Party the whiney leftist cry and complain when they don’t get their way gust look at them all crying at the vote for the great new Supreme Court justice. Then we can look at Seattle and the horrible handling by the mayor and governor who are democrats allowing domestic terrorist to take control of parts of their city. The peaceful protests were really riots plan and simple.

hahahaha A made up group doesn't discuss the reasoning behind policies that would be used to get their criteria. instead they plot a bunch of dots and you fell for it.

You refuse to discuss policy because of your lack of knowledge and the fact that all the big government policies you support are failures. But look look at this made up chart from a made up group.
