No you implied that because it was colder than usual for late October that gives the campaign a pass. Like no one knew it was going to be cold that evening. The issue here is not planning correctly for returning people to their vehicles and having a location where people have to park miles away. How many would have gone if they knew they would be waiting out in the cold until as late as 1AM?
It’s literally frightening to see the mental contortions people make to defend this, they aren’t aren’t even good at it. How hard is it to simply admit the obvious? The event was poorly planned and people were hurt as a result. Frontline healthcare workers and police also had to divert their time and resources to helping people in this mess, while further risking further exposure to COVID.
That's normal for Trump. He keeps people around as long as they are useful to him, then he drops them. D.C. is full of people who were dumped by Trump.

It really is just that.
Has anyone apologized or are they blaming it on the Deep State?

I don't know if we'll hear about it, but I am genuinely curious as to where the logistics fell apart in the event planning.
Looking at that map, there appear to be many roads in and out of that venue. You'd think they'd have a dedicated route in and out that was for busses ONLY. It might be a little longer way around, but a clear route where people could be bussed back out of the venue to where they had parked, and been picked up to attend, miles away.
Because they had to have known that close in car traffic, and pedestrians, would clog up the roads and keep the busses from shuttling rally goers.
I know, right ? Maybe he should bring one of those mini guns to his next rally. Like from the first Predator movie. Take out a few supporters , just for kicks...
If Trump felt it would give him a enough votes to win, no doubt he would do it. And no doubt there would be Trumpers willing to be executed for Trump's victory.
Yeah ok, only hold rallies in perfect weather when you only have a few days left to campaign. These events are most likely planned far in advance requiring a lot of logistics and preparation from the secret service so it's not Trump's fault that the weather was cold. Elderly people have no business being out there anyways but that was their choice.
I do get Trump is in full on desperation mode. I do give him kudos for the effort. He is not going to go down without a fight. But if it had been planned better these people would not be out there until 1AM and the fact that it was cold at the rally would have been less of an issue.
