I trust that you are writing a very sternly worded letter today to Mother Nature about her unacceptable application of cold temperatures in late October. You should definitely cc Trump on it, too.
I am in Northern Oklahoma. It was reported for almost a week that it was going to get very cold for October. The Trump campaign knew this and decided the rally was more important than these people.

Here's a local story. Commentary by a rally volunteer - or maybe worker? Apparently the Trump campaign stated there were 29K people at the rally but a reporter on scene estimated the crowd to be 6K.
I wouldn't walk across the street to see or hear any politician, ever, even if it was someone I'd vote for, let alone travel or attend a rally. I can read their policy statements, their detailed plans, look up their congressional voting records, and get the info I need without all the blah-blah-blah-rah-rah.
My time is valuable and standing around waiting for some person to give a speech is not my idea of useful or fun.
And in the cold or hot weather? Hahahahaa. Oh hell no.
I had a couple friends who attended Obama's inauguration in Jan 2009. They got up at like 4am and froze their butts off standing outside all those hours. I voted for Obama, but no way would I put myself out when I could have the best seat in the house -- comfy couch, plasma TV, my own personal loo, all the food I wanted.

More dramatics. Nobody was forced out into the cold. They came out because they wanted to come out. Are political campaigns supposed to operate only within weather guidelines established by you?
If they really cared so much they'd have a website that wouldn't take forever to load the article...pass.
they appear extremely happy to run a commercial for a Dem House challenger.
I didn't see the article mention that while the campaign supplied buses to get there, they didn't to get back to their cars. I don't think the busses were owned by Trump campaign, and so we have to wonder why they didn't come back.

So I googled a map for Eppley airfield, and couldn't figure out exactly where the rally was held, specifically.
There is large airport building right there. I understand the rally couldn't be held inside the airport, but how far was the rally from the actual airport building? It seems that would have been the place to take the ralliers who were there for hours and suffering hypothermia if they couldn't get the busses through.
These people only felt cold because somebody told them it was cold out. We need to stop measuring the temperature!
Hahaaa!
