She's a fraud. The overwhelming number of people identifying as Indian are of Indian descent and have tribal affiliation.

In Latin America, we see a lot of people looking like natives. [do you know how racist that sounds? All natives look alike to you. Frankly, the tribes of the north look very different than those in the south.]
In Anglo America, we see almost zero, except those "Hispanic" immigrants.
Don't tell me it is incidental.
Perhaps you are unaware of the decimation of the Amazon basin by Francisco de Orellana.
The Spanish explorer Francisco de Orellana, the 16th century explorer who was the first European to traverse the Amazon River, reported densely populated regions, with extensive agriculture, running hundreds of kilometers along the river, suggesting population levels exceeding even those of today.
But later explorers found the region depopulated, a jungle rainforest, and the culture reduced to stone age implements. His stories were disbelieved for hundreds of years.
Only recently, archaeologists discovered evidence of a mighty civilization that vanished shortly after the arrival of Orellana.
Eurasian diseases are the major suspects.
Coincidentally, Orellana's reports of extensive agriculture in the Amazon watershed overturn the "Green" belief that the rainforest should be sacrosanct from development.

As to the descendants of central and south America, remember, their cultures were different from the warlike north American tribes.

The Native Americans were mainly hunters and gatherers and did not hold much in personal possessions, which would inhibit their movement. The Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas were predominantly farmers, and they developed elaborate irrigation schemes within their territories to improve their food security.

Tribes wiped out rival Tribes

http://www.enotes.com/canada-reference/canada-178912
“... the Iroquois may have committed genocide against the Huron, who ceased to exist as a confederacy in 1649.”

BENIGN SPANISH ?
The Spanish conquistadors basically enslaved the survivors, or made them land bound serfs, whose descendants you note.
The English and French did not enslave the local tribes. Most of the time, one tribe would align with the Whites to defeat a stronger enemy. And vice versa. The infamous Sioux / Lakota horse culture of the Great Plains was driven from their original hunting grounds in the east. But their rivals, the Pawnee, often worked with the Whites as guides, and helped in wars against the Sioux.

Warlike tribes also do not co-exist well with the exclusionary land practices of modern agriculture.
Farmers cannot tolerate hunter - gatherers who wipe out their livestock and crops.
Of course, the indigenous farmers weren't a danger to the Spanish farmers.

MODERN ALASKA NATIVES
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska_Natives
“.... during the first two generations (1741/1759-1781/1799 AD) of Russian contact, 80 percent of the Aleut population died from Eurasian infectious diseases...”

An American native looks most like an English person descendant from the colonist or European person or a black person. Indians are various separate tribal nations.

Tiny but mighty Taiwan willing to fight for survival against Emporer Xi's brutal racist regime. They rushed to buy defensive weapons from the USA before the election in case China's friend Biden is elected and sells them out to the murderous CCP.

Childish person brainwashed by propaganda.

Just show me two big nations which are true "friends" anytime in human history!

But not being a friend does not mean being an enemy.
