“Herd immunity” refers to the effect of a successful vaccination program. It doesn’t mean everyone just gets sick. Lol. That would be referred to as “failure.”

To call it a “cold” is hyperbolic though and playing politics.

Everyone can get on with their life. Let science and the free market do their thing. I know this is a political forum but social engineering either way rubs those who value freedom the wrong way.

Well, that’s what Marxists do.

So I’ll just continue to point out that Republicans claim to be anti-Marxist.

Exactly. More fatal car accidents than covid deaths. Most people in car accidents are young and healthy, while most die of covid are older than 70 with underlying medical conditions.

Of course.

One of the most imports stats is positivity rate —- not the number of new cases, but the new of new cases in relationship to the number of new tests. Check out: https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/testing/individual-states

You will see that the positivity rate definitely trending upwards again.

Where are all of the deaths from the so-called "super spreader" Sturgis motorcle rally back in July.

Oh yeah -- there weren't any.

Very true. Those silly geese are scrambling to ramp up the Rona counts for the election. Heck, that was their goal since day one.

That being said, you generally have to be strong and healthy to participate in a motorcycle rally. An old man with an impaired immune system won't be able to do it. Plus, most of it was outdoors. Which makes the event a non-starter for Rona. If someone did get sick, they were regular-sick, not Rona.

Are they older with other serious illnesses? They may be hospitalized anyway with or without covid.
