Infringing on our rights is okay bc it hurts everyone? Sorry, but that's not a justification.

Probably don't like that "one person, one vote" nonsense either I'd guess.
That's the thing, if they would not have cheated in the first place, such measures that are being taken would not have to be taken. Simple and very basic, "cause and effect".

Democrats tactics to win elections:
Vote

Moral of the story is that it's pathetic to watch Republicans constantly come up with new ways to disenfranchise voters bc they don't like how other people vote. Everytime Dems challenge this and win, it's described as a win Democrats. Wrong! It's a win for DEMOCRACY.

I hope when Democrats run the table, we start introducing more legislation to punish bad actors who purposefully try to disenfranchise legal voters from exercising their rights
This^^^^

As an independent who cares about out democratic process and has voted for both Democrat and Republican candidates, I am appalled at the Conservatives actions to suppress the vote. Not just in the great state of Texas but all across the nation. Its appalling. Its despicable. Its un-Amercan

I agree with the OP. If you want proof look at the governor of Texas limiting early ballot drop-off locations to one per county, look at the frivolous lawsuits filed by the GOP to cancel votes in Harris County, Texas or to disallow mail-in votes received after 8pm on election day in Minnesota even if they are postmarked prior to election day. The list goes on and on in an obvious concerted effort by the GOP to suppress votes. They aren’t even hiding it anymore. It has actually become their campaigning strategy and that is scary to me as someone who values our democracy.

For every action there is a reason behind it and that doesn't mean that the reason is nefarious either but liberals don't care about the legitimate reasons for anything. I also have to laugh at those claiming they value our democracy which should include respect for our laws as that's why we have a democracy in the first place. Yet they have no respect for our immigration laws just for starters.

This morning on the news they are saying that the Post Office said that there are ballots that have not been delivered.

With the pandemic and the other problems that the Post Office has been having, it's taking days longer for everything to get delivered.

The Post Office knows that they're slower right now. Those ballots should count - regardless of the state.

They were obviously mailed prior to today.

You think 1200 closures was for the good of the voting population? I guarantee any growth in polling locations is either in Democratic precincts or safe Republican ones. You only need to disenfranchise people when their vote overturns a GOP win

it doesn't matter if you think felons make good choices. It's their right to vote and should be restored after they finish their sentence.

Riots and protests have zero to do with what goes on outside of polling places.
So all the extra 113,000 polling locations under Trump have been in Democrat precincts or safe Republican ones? How do you go about proving that?

And it doesn't matter if you want more felon voters, states have the right to take away voting privileges to those who have demonstrated an inability to act in good faith towards the welfare of the community. The 14th Amendment, section 2, alludes to the fact that voting privileges can be taken away due to criminal behavior.

Voting is not difficult. Voter suppression is a myth peddled by liberal media with zero basis in facts. You can see that with the amount of people that are voting. Showing identification to prove who you are is not racism.

The bottom line is that the Democratic party has duped a lot of people into automatically checking that Democrat box without thinking about it. They are purely apathetic voters. Waiting in line is not racism, and it's not suppression. Otherwise, Disney World would be practicing ride suppression and racism as well. If standing in a line with some form of identification is all that will stop you from voting, then clearly you don't care about your candidate. It's not suppression, it's complete apathy.
