Says the person who has not even taken the time to read into the plan.

It wasn't "just someone", as it was literally the United Nations. Some of what was discussed at the summit has been implemented due to COVID, such as the rise in remote working which to me isn't such a bad thing, but there are other items which are (such as moving people into cities/suburbs versus rural areas, which has been happening at record pace).

I bet you think weather warfare is fake too even though the Royal Army and US military has admitted to using it before (the US did in Vietnam). Lastly post those other simulations which also coincided with the Military World Games held in Wuhan, China in Oct. 2019. You won't be able to.

I might have to change my vote ...

as someone sitting at home recovering from COVID i can say with certainty that once this election is over, there will be no vested interest in the idiotic media and the wacked out left to scare people.

That's for certain.

I don't think it goes away. I think they change how they report it. Up until now they focus on case count and present it in a way as if the end is near. They completely ignore or bury the facts about how much we test, the insane sensitivity level we test at, the extreme over cycling to find dead virus cells or such low amount of virus load and the fact the death rate has dropped so much. They ignore how much better we are able to treat people who come down with the virus. They simply try to amp up fear and panic, rather than providing all the context and important info. Once Biden wins, I believe they will start to change that presentation style to something less "sky is falling" and start replacing it with those other factors and how there is light at the end of the tunnel. Green shoots if you will.

And "especially" if Biden were elected. They will "praise" Biden in his handling of the virus!

My hope is that we'll have someone who will have more respect for public health efforts than our current presidential incumbent and will at least step out of the way to let the professionals do their jobs. It's a portion of the hard headed citizenry who must have been traumatized by a science teacher and therefore don't believe in science that I worry about.

I think you're more likely to see Trump and his sidekick Giuliani doing middle of the night infomercials. Giuliani already has infomercials on virus protection software, but Trump will need a different schtick because virus protection obviously isn't his thing. If I come across that, I'll do what I do now when Trump comes on and change the channel.

Covid mania won't end until we get a national plan (testing, contact tracing) to actively lessen the virus successfully like many other countries have done such as Taiwan (7 deaths), New Zealand (25 deaths), South Korea, Japan, and so on. Crazy that we have 230K plus deaths now in USA with no plan and rapidly rising numbers!?

Hilarious. Almost as funny as Trump saying covid would magically disappear last spring.

You think it's going to disappear just because he wants it to? Do you think the media - which unfortunately highlights disastrous news - is going to stop suddenly stop talking about covid?

Easy. The US is far more diverse than those homogeneous countries (especially Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan) and also much larger population wise and geographically. That and if Trump would have placed some of the measures other countries placed earlier on then he would have been called a dictator. He was already called racist by many for the China travel ban.

I hope not I didn’t vote and regret not doing so

I planned to vote President Trump before COVID

After his handling of the situation could not bring myself to

I do hope those that have yet to vote and can vote do vote for resolution to COVID

We need the misinformation, the corruption, the false hope, and diluting science over religion

Biden may not be the best choice we have

It’s the only other choice we have to lead us through this crisis
