Good point. A bunch of the steerage passengers on the Titanic probably had TB and were malnourished - is it really fair to classify their deaths as drowning?

So what? It is what it is. I predict it gets over 300,000. Treat it like the flue. I don’t wear a mask but my state has more deaths due to car accidents. Live in some densely populated rat hole you should take precautions.

Vote whoever you want, because who the President happens to be doesn't matter where the infection and survival rate of a flu virus is concerned.

Vote whoever you want, because who the President happens to be doesn't control what happens inside any of the 50 sovereign states.

Vote whoever you want, because who the President happens to be doesn't speed up or slow down medical research aimed at finding a flu shot for this version of the flu.

Vote whoever you want, because who the President happens to be doesn't dictate your personal behavior vis a vis hygiene, mask wearing, distancing, etc.

In short, vote whoever you want, because who the President happens to be doesn't have even the least little bit to do with you, covid, your health, or anything else in about 99.99% of your daily existence.

Why not take that to the logical conclusion? We could just pre-print a death certificate for 99% of all cases - "Death caused by oxygen starvation of the brain". And it'll make things so easy. None of this rooting around for actual causes or contributing factors.

Treat it like the flue (sic)

The flu isn't responsible for one out of ten obituaries right now.

It could - and may yet be - one out of 5 or maybe more. You think the economy sucks now? Wait til then.

Treat the Corona virus like the flu?

At first I thought you were actually kidding but I guess you are serious. Never in a million years would I compare the two.

Even the president still doesn't seem to get it by comparing the two and thinking you just get Corona virus and then get over it. Oh if it was that simple.

Those that contracted Corona virus, many are still suffering the side effects and will possibly experience that for a lifetime. So much is still unknown about this virus comparing it to the flu indicates the individual knows very little about health, science, and how viruses can work.

You get the flu and most get over it, you get Corona virus and you've got a pre-existing condition for life.

And when this all started it was Predicted we might have 2 to 2.5 million dead by the this time of the year. IF Biden was President the media and likely you would be praising the fact that they did a great job and suffered only 10% of the projected loses. Terrible of course but please and I haven't seen Biden say he would do anything different then is currently being done. He mentioned a National Mask Mandate then had to pull it back largely because somebody told him it wouldn't be legal. There is only one person we are sure of who took a stupid ass action to place Americans in Danger and that was the Dem. Governor of New York Cuomo who put Covid patients in Nursing Homes among the most vulnerable. Its almost as if he did it deliberately hoping to thin them out and reduce the cost to the state in long term care.

Most of those who "died" did so from heart attacks, strokes and suicide. But the hospitals get a 20% stipend from the CARES Act to say it was a "COVID-related death" even if it was not. Nurses went undercover and showed the patient had 3 Negative COVID Results and the hospital put "COVID Positive" as cause of death. Plus the Liberal News Media loves to scream into the camera the daily death total, none of them idiots knowing the true facts of why or "what" the patients died from. They are trying to hurt Trump and blame him.... That is their only goal...

I do not believe 221,000 ALL died from COVID. Nope!
