The current standard is 1 minute after the end of an inauguration, so yeah, given the current bar, I'd say calling for it before he is even in an office where impeachment would be needed for his removal is a bit premature.
Now, it he does become president-elect, there is a 1 minute window available to lower the bar but still not call for impeachment prior to him actually assuming office. Only a minute, but he could get called out faster than Trump.
