I also think we have little room for immigrants. I'm not even sure why so many feel the need to come to the US anymore, there are other countries for people to go to. What do we have to offer at this point, EBT and welfare? Public schools are awful and are barely even in session now.

The globalist elites have been bringing in migrant refugees largely outside of the public's awareness because they never talk about it for 40 years.. it's just been accelerating in the 2010's and much moreso in Europe to the point where people started complaining about it, but the elites literally don't care.. they will do it and keep doing it especially now that Biden is elected, they will open the floodgates that Trump had closed. Scandanavian socialism worked so well for these reasons....

Republicans brought them in, democrats brought them in, the media kept mostly silent about it distracting you with things like gay marriage. Until Trump. He cut them off. Now that may be over with, the floodgates will be opened back up whether you like it or not.

Why do you guys keep circling back to the taxes when you have to know that premiums and taxes are both out of pocket expenses....you have to be ignorant to dishonest to keep saying this.

I agree with much of what you post. I hope many of us are in agreement.
I was all for Biden until Harris came into the picture, then I was on the fence between him or Trump, ultimately went with Biden, but if I had to do it again, I could easily vote for Trump instead.

I viewed both as horrible candidates, but think Biden/Harris will be so bad, Congress, at least the senate, will be Republican through the four years and the house even going red in 2022, and this hopefully knocks some sense into both parties to run decent candidates and drop their extremist BS.

For the local and house election, I voted Republican.

Trump can be a bully and taunt people...Biden isn't allowed to stand up to a bully? You'd like him better if he just backed down? Gimme a break. People can raise their voices and speak emphatically...I kinda like "emotional" people who at least can feel something besides anger and derision

If you see these Trumpesque characteristics in Biden then whattaya belly-achin' about?

I am sick and tired of all this endless bickering and that "my-way-or-the-highway" mentality. That mentality is akin to a couple who's fixated on winning the argument instead of trying to solve their differences and problems.

Another thing that's truly gotten under my skin is all this nonsense about communism within the Democratic party. If there are fringes of that failed system within that party, trust me, I and many others will not stand for it. The USA will never be a communist country. Why? Because communism doesn't work, period!

This notion that anyone who votes Democrat wants to see the demise and destruction of the USA is sheer idiocy. Why in the world would I want to destroy the land I've lived in my entire life, the land whose Military I've served in, the land I've raised my family in, the land that's taught me a trade and afforded me a stable income? That thinking is nothing more than a simpleton's way of dismissing something they disagree with.

For the record, my vote for Biden was nothing more than a protest vote against Trump.

It's high time we placed pointless arguments aside and started having conversations with each other. Like it or not, we're all on this damn boat together. We're not gonna get anywhere if half of us row from the east end of the boat and the other half from the west end of the boat. We should row the boat from the center.
I believe that you would not want to destroy the country. And I think a lot of Democrats are like that. I used to be a Democrat. But just how republicans feel that the Democrats are going to the direction of socialism is comparable to how so many liberals call Republicans fascists or racists. I only know a small % of republicans that like Trump. They vote for him because even though he is somebody they dislike his economy policies just make better sense. Taxing the rich only makes everybody else poorer. etc..

And I will admit. I don't think the DNC wanted Bernie on the ticket at all. Because even the DNC is run by people who benefit off capitalism. But they are having to grab that far left vote & sooner or later they are going to have to give into more socialism policies to keep them. Or they will lose them as voters.

Yes, when you're a person of color THAT'S the only reason you're successful at anything and you're HAPPY that's the ONLY reason? I guess I can understand why you'd come to that conclusion as that's a major reason white people succeed - because they're white and thus are on at least first or second base in the great baseball game of life!

My dad never found employment in his field again - he was in his late 40s at the time and there was a combination of age discrimination, competing against cheaper new MBAs with only a high school diploma, and growing mental health issues. Pre-ACA, my parents couldn't get insurance due to preexisting conditions. Now that they've been able to address those issues thanks to the ACA, the damage is done. My dad tried to treat his diabetes with diet and exercise in those interim years, but now has kidney failure and is going blind.

Meanwhile, because my parents were uninsured, I relied on my college health insurance. When I graduated, that was gone. I was denied health insurance on the open market due to minor per-existing conditions that did not require active treatment, like a bladder issue that had been resolved when I was 8 years old and seeking treatment following a rape when I was 17. Luckily I was insured when a few months later I was diagnosed with stage IV cancer a month after my 23rd birthday, totally unrelated to those preexisting issues. While I've always had decent corporate health insurance since a few months after college, I know that could change in an instant and, in a pre-ACA world, I would never be able to buy health insurance again with my cancer history.

Health insurance should not be tied to employment.
I voted for Trump, but I tend to agree with you on this. Also, a lot of people stay with a job they hate for many years because they are afraid to risk losing their insurance. It makes it really tough for small business owners as well, because they make too much for subsidies, yet don't get the benefit of group plan pricing.

Couldn't employers give better wages/salaries too if they weren't paying for health insurance? I know my company pays a lot more than what I pay towards insurance. I'm sure some of that is tax deductible but I can't imagine it all being like that.

I don't care for all the focus on transgender rights. Men who went through sex change should not be able to compete in women's sports.
I don't care about illegal immigrants. Just treat them humanely but there is no reason to welcome them. Keep them out humanely too.
really don't care what Biden voters might confess to now, if you voted for him you voted for everything on his campaign agenda.

However if you want to confess something, confess that calling me a racist, a white supremacist, a uneducated fool, a fascist and so on all of which democrats did was all just a lie you knowingly put forth well then go ahead and confess your sins.

What I know is you voted for unchecked immigration
You voted to raise the cost of living and fuel prices for climate change
You voted to make millions of gun owners instant felons if they don't comply with confiscation
You voted to give up on fair trade
You voted to implement a whole host of socialist agendas

Biden can be a bully all he wants, but then don’t try to tell me how he is “calm” and “unemotional” and “gentlemanly” and an example for the nations.

Not sure what part of this is confusing.
