  1. Eliminate the Democrat and Republican parties. Enough with the crap that one side sucks and the other is good. Both sides do good things and some pretty stupid things. I cannot stand the fact that a candidate can't say what he/she thinks, because they need to stay within party lines. That is a bunch of crap. How about we start saying what we really feel and what we believe in.
  2. Scrap the stupid campaign finance reform bill that passed. All it does is guarantee that ONLY rich people can run for President, as you are limited in how much someone can contribute to your campaign, but you can use all of your own money that you want to. How did they get away with that. How about you can only receive $5,000 from each person AND only use $5,000 from your own funds. Almost everyone could then run, as they would have to run off of even contributions. That will never happen, because the politicians woun't let it.
  3. Why can't we get term limits in ALL government positions. We need to stop the life long positions. A person gets too much control and power that way. IE Ted Kennedy. We need to limit how long someone can stay in government, to protect the system.
These are some pretty simple, easy and straight forward solutions that would dramatically improve the political situation in America, allowing a broader range of candidates to run on what they actually think, rather than what they are told to say. There would be much more accountability. It will also never happen, as the politicians, both Republican and Democrat, feed the American voters a bunch of crap that they are just so happy to eat and think it's steak.

Do you want to do away with the Constitution of the United States as well?

A politician needs to raise lots of money. If money makes the world go round, then a politician will need a lot of cash just to keep ahead of the curve, not to mention campaigning for reelection. Campaign finance reform just needs some more money to make it work.

No. Just want to eliminate the stupid barriers that have been put up to stop us from actually dealing with issues and having accountability.

If you keep trying to run from point A to point B and run head first into a brick wall, do you keep banging your head into the wall or do you change direction and go around the wall?

The money is the problem. If money was limited to keep it even for everyone, than anyone can run. That's what we need. We certainly don't need more money thrown at anything in this country.

A politician must not have scruples about money. To take other’s money inspires confidence in one’s constituency, for a politician that cannot be bribed, cannot be trusted. In the buying and selling of political influence, bribery has the added appeal of being certain of one’s man; and a politician with a head for business will turn a good profit from selling his office many times over, for there is nothing more costly than a political favor.
