What I’m disagreeing with is the notion that “it could be wrong therefore it doesn’t matter” which is what I believe you’re saying. When it’s called too early and then it’s a roller coaster, it undermines the credibility of the agency that called it. It doesn’t matter objectively, I suppose, but it does matter in terms of perception. Not everyone has the same mentality as you to be automatically skeptic of news networks calling elections, especially ones they are partial to.

No I'm not saying that, I'm just saying it doesn't matter full stop. It's just political commentary like the talking heads on the channels.

I guess to the agency producing the calls it matters to their credibility, but again, so what?
