I specify Harris because, lets face it, Rapey Joe won't be in long before he collapses or is forced out and Kammie takes his place. So, how long do you think it will be until we're in a hard recession-especially with a collapse of the housing market? Granted, a Republican senate can minimize some of the bad decisions and policies, but certainly not go away. We also need to consider an expansion of "lockdowns" under a Harris admin as soon as the inauguration takes place.

There is a recession on average every 7 years in the United States.

Go look it up.

Yep. Trump did a good job of holding it off, in spite of a global pandemic. I don't expect to see that under Dem leadership, and if there is one, I expect any recovery to be as slow as it was under Obama. The housing market is probably more overpriced than in '08, at least if my area is any indication. Though I don't know that the same risky investment games are being played by the banks.

Do you remember Republicans forcing the sequester? That literally took half a percent off GDP growth for a while and inhibited recovery from the recession. Republicans torched the federal government's role in the economic recovery and blamed it on Obama - and you continue to lap up the lies.

Under a Harris presidency, how long until a recession?
How long?

We are in recession right now since we had 2 consecutive quarters of negative GDP. GDP growth will be around -5% for the year

He did what now? Our recession started in February.

Nope. 30% GDP growth last quarter. No recession.

Not only what you wrote above, but these fools don't even know who is running for president. I think we should have some sort of national overhaul of our educational system. For instance, make sure schools are fully funded throughout the country. Maybe a kind of a equity system where we all start off with a good education. What one does with it, well, that is another discussion. But, I think if the US had a better educated population with more protections, we wouldn't be in the place we are today. IDK, I just find it concerning that almost half the country thinks like this poster. Until this current election, I thought this site was an outlier and represented a small fringe group. I was wrong.
