With the GOP controlling the senate will they allow any Biden nominee to take a seat on SCOTUS? Should they? Thomas is getting up there in age. If he leaves will the GOP let him be replaced with a liberal? Breyer is older though, but he's liberal. If Breyer leaves will Biden be able to replace him?
Not as a private citizen, particularly one on trial for corruption.
I can just see Mitch saying, "Well, 4 years is not enough time to nominate a judge. What do you take us for? Cooperative? Never mind that the GOP did so when an election had already started. What's good for the GOP is good for the GOP. We're not hear to serve the American people. ha ha heh heh heh"
