Its not a yes or no response though. I think that they will listen to the experts, which probably will mean some limited shutdowns in very limited areas. Biden wants our economy to function, but also wants to protect us. You cant do that by treating this as a one size fits all prescription.

Shutting down is up to states. Mr. Biden, if President, can only set an example.

Now, Mr. Biden, as President, can 'shut down' interstate travel, via the interstate commerce clause of the Constitution. Air travel? Perhaps. Trucks? No.

We are up to 115,000 new COVID 19 cases today. Something must be done. It is not going away. It is a pandemic.

Biden already said a national mask mandate has legal problems. If that's the case, I don't see how a national lockdown would go much further.

I think he thinks everyone adores anyone in the role of the president, so if people just see him with a mask, everyone will instantly wear one all the time and this will stop the virus dead in its tracks. I've seen all the debates and speeches, and I really couldn't tell you in actuality what Biden would do different than Trump.

No they will do some smoke and mirrors. Spew some ridiculous rhetoric, quietly change the way Covid deaths are counted and take credit for a miracle save. The media of course will back their play. The dems will pass a 3 trillion dollar stimulus loaded with outlandish pork. Take credit for the $1200 stimulus checks to we the people and blame Trump and the GOP for our debt. That is my prediction.

The media will do a massive spin job. Every time the death toll is slightly lower, the media will do the happy dance on camera and let you know how wise the American people were to listen to the elite liberals like them and select Biden for president.

They are going to come out with the a vaccine that will perfectly timed: announced within 2 weeks of Biden being confirmed the winner and mass distributed shortly after the Inauguration so he can take all the credit.

Sounds like a great way to get killed during the mid terms. This election was to close to just go out & make extreme measures.

They don't have the power to do that, just as Trump didn't have the power to keep everything open.

It's up to the governors.
