Stock market reaching record highs and economy doing great. Right-wingers are really depressed, they want this President to fail and to bring back their sore loser leader.

David Brooks is a Republican who, like many others, broke away as he became horrified by Trump. This is a hopeful preview.
5 great things Biden has already done
By David Brooks
I’ve been reading Joe Biden’s speeches, and I’m beginning to think even his supporters are underestimating him.
Biden is campaigning in a land filled with fear, hatred and apocalyptic thinking. It would be so easy for him to reflect that fear and hate back to voters. That’s what Trump does. But Biden is not doing that. Never in my life have I seen a candidate so confidently avoid wedge issues. Biden is instead running on the conviction that, despite it all, Americans deeply love their country and viscerally long for its unity.
This is mostly what the Biden presidency has been. The problem has been however, we are in a world that benefits from fear, hatred and apocalyptic thinking. Look at the clickbait we see for movie and sport news on Facebook. Look at the blog political sites that we often see on here. Hell, look at what is put out by the traditional media even. A lot of it today is all about fear, hatred or apocalyptic thinking. It isn't a red/blue issue, it is just the way the media and not just news media is today. Putting out some clickbaity title that seeks to play on fear, hatred or "we're all gonna die" is what works and drives people in to read and then share the article or video.
1. Record inflation
2. Material shortages across the board with no end in sight
3. Butchered the Afghanistan withdrawal alienating European allies
4. Lied that he would force vaccine mandates
5. Job participation rates are at lows
6. Racism is alive and well again
Let’s go Brandon!
Besides the vaccine mandate issue, these issues really started under Trump. I seem to remember many people on here well into Trump's third year blaming Obama for a number of things. Turnabout is fairplay. Nice job projecting here.
1) Record inflation goes back to the talks of the first stimulus check. Also a lot of people in 2020 as the election race was heating up, predicted that travel would increase and it has. Hell, all the stimulus checks in a way are Trump's. Remember, for the second one he wanted a bigger check that became the Biden 1,200 check on top of the already accepted $600 one.
2) Material shortages started under Trump. The supply lines were messed up and briefly got better depending on how long places were not shutdown. Remember the run on chicken, pork and beef last year around April/May?
3) Trump wanted to pull us out of Afghanistan prior to the election and eventually got it. Hell, Biden actually pushed back the Trump planned withdrawal. Biden acted on a Trump goal. As for European allies, Trump already caused issues with them, other than righties like Boris Johnson, PM of Britain.
5) That largely isn't political, but started as people were re-thinking work after businesses closed down or went virtual.
6) Racism that was highlighted by Trump's campaign. It was there for about 5 years or so before Biden ran, it just wasn't mainstream until Trump came down the escalator...

Aww, you see. The difference is NOBODY FIRED Obama and replaced Obama for Trump. Obama termed out.
You leftists FIRED Trump and replaced Trump with Biden. Almost a year into this and you are still blaming Trump for Biden’s crisis?
Excuse me, didn’t you fire Trump and replace him with Biden?

Trump replaced Obama, just as Biden replaced Trump. Nobody "fired" Trump, we elected a president through an arcane system that gives less populated states more of a vote than densely populated states. Trump was not fired. He would have only been fired if he was impeached, if you want to call it that.
What I really want to know is this. Why can't you put your bias and partisanship aside and admit that Trump had to clean up the Obama mess, just as Biden is having to do with Trump? I actually know the answer is because you and the rest of the Trump supporters and Republicans are nothing but a bunch of partisan hack hypocrites. Y'all excused Trump with "Obama issues he was cleaning up" for three years and now y'all are acting like Biden caused things Trump did. Y'all are too chickenchit to look at yourselves in the mirror.

The election of 2016 was between Trump and Hillary, not Trump and Obama in case you don’t know that. The people elected Trump over Hillary.
Election of 2020 was between Trump and Biden. People elected Biden over Trump because they THOUGHT Biden is a better option. If you lefty thought Biden is a better option than Trump, then why do you keep blaming Trump for everything happening under Biden? Didn’t you choose not to elect Trump and gave the job to Biden?
