A lot of Republicans voted Biden, and then R for everything else. I imagine independents did, too.

I have never once voted straight party line in my life. What is confusing here?

But Trump got a higher percentage of the republican vote this time than in 2016. So its probably independents.

What is really odd is how the hold out states can tell us who won the races for congress and the local races but not the presidential?

Not everyone are down the line voters. I think this is even more evident in this election. There are most likely Republican voters voting down the ballot as Republican but Biden at the top. It is a message that they object to the POTUS but not the Republican party as a whole. Another contributing factor is that this election had a large turnout. Of that there are probably a lot of first time voters that chose to only vote at the top leaving the down the ballot empty.

Funny-

They were in a hurry and only filled out the vote for president.

According to a poll worker in MI who was kicked out, the scheme worked like this:

1. The dems identified people who were registered at polling places, but did not vote. That is why they needed to wait until 4 am- they had to make sure those people did not vote. Then they took the names of everyone who did not vote and had them "vote" for Biden, dumping the ballots "late" at the polling places.

2. They had a list of dead people to use if the above was not enough (Trump must have really been killing Biden from actual live voters). A poll worker who was kicked out has a screen shot on the net of 7 consecutive "Biden voters", all of whom were born in 1900!!!!!

This is simply a coup. If this is not contested and only actual votes are counted, this is the end of the republic, as in EVERY election going forward, each side will prepare the required number of fake ballots to win. There would be a time in which there would be 4-5X the number of votes cast relative to the population.

Every election going forward would simply be decided by the party who had the best lawyers and control of the Supreme Court. Your vote, as a citizen, would be meaningless.

As recently as 2016, Trump won North Carolina and a Democrat won Governor. People split their ticket sometimes.

In the case of 2020, it is possible Republicans and Independents wanted to oust Trump but not hand Biden the Trifecta (Oval Office, Senate, House). So, they stuck to their senators.

Frankly, I'm surprised they would oust Trump can keep the Republican senators. The senators passed the buck on Trump during impeachment and wanted the voters to decide. That was a dereliction of duty. But, whatever.

Why do you assume that everyone votes straight down the list along party lines?

It means independents liked Republicans but hated Trump.

Ironically, if the D's were really cheating the senate pick is on the same ballot....they'd have taken over the Senate too while they were at it.

All these crybabies about cheating yet you won just 4 years ago....and you sound just like the whiney democrats crying about Diebold for 8 years when Bush was in the Whitehouse.

So yeah D's don't start feigning amnesia that you've never been really sore losers casting aspersions on the democratic process. You're as bad as the R's.
