The guy isn't even president yet and already he wasted no time in presenting his plans to quickly and immediately undo pretty much everything Trump put in place. The Muslim travel ban. Gone. Put us back in the crappy Iran deal. Back in the Paris accords. Reverse the Trump tax cuts and reverse Trump's policies on immigration so we can open the floodgates to countless illegals.

Mr. President Elect, this is not how you convey a message of unity. You spoke to the Trump supporters asking us to give you a chance and that you know how it feels to lose. Sounds nice, but I judge a man by his actions, not how well he can flap his gums. These actions are like a slap the face to the 50% of Americans who loved Trump's policies. He could have at least done a gradual reversal and make some compromises.

Let's face it, half of the country was suckered by the liberal media and Biden's image of calmness. The reality is this guy is only out for himself and his party. They only care about getting your vote.

He is not president yet. Rational thinking people could see what the dems were up to - now many who voted them in are going to pay the price - along with those who didn't. They will let the rich keep their money because those controlling the dem party are rich. The middle class will pay dearly.

I will bet you over 70% of people that voted for Biden have no idea what his platform was. They only had their hatred for Trump which was fueled by the media. The call for unity from the dem party that has acted the way it has over the last 4 years is a joke.

Exactly this.

I don't see any patience at work here, rather creating an illusion and many people are submitting to it.

I don't think any politician believes in 100% unity. It's unattainable.

But Biden will work with people who come to the table in good faith. Think about it, have you seen any Republican Senator or Representative speak out against Biden? I sure haven't.

It would appear Unity, or at least the ability to negotiate in good faith, is possible according to our elected representatives.

Ya know, in 2017 Trump started almost immediately working to undo Obama's signature achievements. Pot-kettle-black. If you want something to stick, you work with Congress.

Somewhere along the line the democrats forgot that middle class people need middle class jobs. We're not all created to be coders and techies. The notion that we can replace all or most manual labor jobs with egg-head desk jobs makes me vomit in my mouth just a little.

At least you admit there was a ban on Muslims after all.
