"Major" being the key word here. When this went on with only a Big 3 those outlets that did stuff like FOX and MSNBC were not considered major. Now that we have the technology that commentator after commentator for 24 hours a day reinforce the same message and is a part of everybody's cable package or pushed by search engines for the cord cutters why we still call those media/political players "news"

The part that's scary is we have a member of Congress, not only thinking the unthinkable, but willing to advocate for it out loud. It's not a measure of her power, but a measure of how low half the country has sunk.
