The only thing that Biden can do to get it under control is multiple-months of Wuhan and Melbourne style mitigation which means basically people going just for health care and grocery needs and a closed economy until they have nearly a billion doses of vaccine, because it will require more than one dose for herd immunity and shrinkage also.

Other than a handful of states, 80% or more of people have face coverings on their face. A national mask mandate is not going to effective if people aren't distancing and they are wearing them on their chins.

A majority of the country already can get a free COVID test.

Rapid tests are nice he never mentions how he ramp up production, to do much good one would have take a rapid test weekly.

Hmm, big surprise there! LOL

I warned people it didnt matter who won, nothing much would change!

I dont even believe there are 2 political parties today...the only reason 2 separate parties appear to exist...is only to make the people believe they have a choice and can make a difference..the 'govt as a whole' is whats been charge, presidents come and go, but 'govt' is always in place

I will not sequester myself again. Forget it. Time for some serious civil disobedience. Not kidding.

This is what happened on March 16 when the whole country shut down!! People won't be happy going backwards!! We've been there and done that and that wasn't normal life. They're sick of being cooped up. This is also why the cases are so high.

More testing? That's already happening right now. How much more testing can we possibly do?

Maybe Joe has other ideas because all these have been done before.

Imagine if it was done with a president that didn't contradict the people advising him and took his job seriously?

Following science like Taiwan did early on in the pandemic was a clear path to controlling the virus. Do nothing Trump with his lack of regard to his base holding Covid super spreader events? It was reckless and despicable. Biden has a super tough road here that might already be too late with over 100,000 + infections daily here in the United States.

Changing the tone and at least working on doing something is better than the lies and do nothing strategy. That's what America voted for. Will Biden's plan work? Time will tell.

What is Biden’s plan other than lock us down and make mask wearing permanent?

This is how I feel too. We should refuse to obey. In fact that should be the entire red state strategy to this illegitimate government.....mass disobedience. The state governments can nullify everything he does rendering him powerless outside the blue states.

So change the tone, don't tell lies, and do something. Well. That's a specific plan, if I've ever heard one.

Your confidence means absolutely nothing to most people.

Not everything has a political solution. Be lucky to 'manage' it let alone eliminate it.
