I agree it should be handled at the state or even the municipality level.

However...

Since a governor cannot quarantine nor lock down their borders from potential spread from a neighboring state, then it is a federal issue. That is my opinion.

Responsibility must come with Authority.

That's a confirmation and it goes under the skin.

Don't know yet. Real hard to make a statement when there is no guidelines or recent precedents.
However, DJT placed restrictions for travelers to/from China and Europe.
Then there are the airlines and land transportation restrictions. Amtrak is very strict on smoking and will put you off, immediately. Airlines are pretty strict and I would not like the wrath of fellow passengers.

Check with your Govn'r.

The dye tattoo goes under the skin. It is not a chip.

The chip proposed for vaccines goes on the syringe, not in the vaccine itself. It is not injected into the vaccine recipient. It allows tracking of each vaccine dose, much like the digital tags used to track inventory in a store.

From the link for those who didn’t read it:

THE QUESTION

Do the syringes for upcoming COVID-19 vaccines contain microchips inside?

THE ANSWER

No. They will have chips on the outside of the syringe to track the vaccine’s usage. They aren’t inside the syringe or in contact with the vaccine itself.

WHAT WE FOUND

That doesn’t mean it tracks the person who has been vaccinated. It just means it tracks when and where a vaccination happens. The goal is to provide health administrators some kind of “injection map” to see how many vaccinations have been administered in a certain area.

Vaccine mandates come from your state not the Federal Government.

I know this. I live in a Democratic controlled state.

However, these are not normal times. If the President wanted to mandate things, I’m sure he’d find a way.

OH sure, I'll ask Joe. Do you want me to check to see if you are on the restricted list?

Yeah, it's all a big joke, isn't it? Until one day, you are somehow restricted in a way you do not wish to be. Then suddenly, it's not funny anymore.
