This vaccine isn’t going to be widely available until mid summer 2021. So yes, masks should be mandated until all Americans have the opportunity to receive it.
PS: Trump and the US had nothing to do with the Pfizer vaccine. They took no money from the US. We provided no scientists to assist them. German scientists did this with hours and hours of hard work. Stop giving anyone else credit for their accomplishment.
In general, vaccines take effect after they've been administered. Sadly, viruses aren't sporting enough to follow the news and just sort of give up merely because a vaccine exists.

Since there are like 50 vaccines under development and a half dozen that are past stage 3 in development, would it be too much to ask for you to post a link to whatever it is you are claiming?

I think it odd how people are basically putting the cart before the horse and counting chickens before they hatch to use old cliches.
I doubt that mask mandates will go over well if the cases decline to extremely low numbers.
If we had the rates that Australia and New Zealand have there would be no need for a mask because there would so few cases but at this time it is skyrocketing here so they are needed.

President Trump has already mobilized the military for rapid deployment. The process will start prior to President Elect Harris/Biden taking office. Their new mask mandate can't happen until they take office, which is after the vaccine is already being delivered. Some sour grapes for the left who desperately wanted to be the savior from Covid and it all goes to Trump now.
