Honestly I didn't even notice until someone pointed it out. Maybe he's allergic or maybe he doesn't like them. Will be nice to see a dog in the white house again if nothing else.

He does not need a dog to pet. He has Melania to keep him warm and comfortable.
So what? I don't care for owning dogs, petting other people's sure, but don't want my own, wife insisted though so she got oldest daughter a yapping chihuahua and she has the dumbest lab I have ever met.
