"HHS announced up to $1.95 billion in funds to Pfizer for the large-scale manufacturing and nationwide distribution of 100 million doses of their vaccine candidate. The federal government will own the 100 million doses of vaccine initially produced as a result of this agreement, and Pfizer will deliver the doses in the United States if the product successfully receives FDA EUA or licensure, as outlined in FDA guidance, after completing demonstration of safety and efficacy in a large Phase 3 clinical trial, which began July 27th."
So trump paid to manufacture and distribute the vaccine, but he had nothing to do with the development. Now, I know its hard to find something good that trump has done as president, but making up fake news is not going to convince anyone that he actually did anything. Pre-ordering a product is not the same as actually developing it.
Seriously? You think an almost 2 billion pot of gold at the end of the road doesnt motivate a company to work at Warp Speed?
trump thankfully had nothing to do with the vaccine from Pfizer, so it should be safe for all Americans. I for one am glad that Pfizer was smart enough not to trust trump and his goons and were able to get out a good vaccine in a timely manner without any help at all from those clowns.

Just to clarify, you are in favor of less regulation and hate Trump, that about sum it up?
As I've said previously, I would be willing to get a vaccine when a phase 3 trial is completed and published, and I can read the findings for myself. That won't be happening any time soon, certainly not under the EUA. I suspect that point is at least 1-2 years away.

I NEVER said "trump paid". I said that Pfizer has stated that they are in fact part of Warp Speed. That was AFTER The VP said they weren't.

Pfizer IS part of Warp Speed. Warp Speed is the Trump administration plan to get multiple vaccines to market as fast as possible. It is a lie to say they are not part of Warp Speed. so stop.
