I guess we can wait for the new vaccine at this point. Trump got hundreds of thousands of Americans killed.
simple solution, from a simple mind. the issue is more complex, but i see your not up for the task.

Biden talks about "guidance" which is not the same as imposing a national lockdown, whatever that term means.
CA had a hard lockdown. its just now lifting. still mask mandate. and by this the stores all.require masks and distancing, sanitizing.

looking at covid maps ca is doing better than most states.

explains a thing or two....i believe most lockdowners are in a position where it does not matter to them. which is pretty annoying. they cry about covid, yet could really care less about the world or people being completely ruined. and assume the government will bail us out. newsflash: the amount of money to bail us out of round one of this mess is astronomical. not to mention the vaccine freebs, unemployment, etc. throw in another freeze and well, you do the math, if you have a scientific calculator

The virus is nearly gone from Australia because they followed science. That`s how grownups deal with it.

Didn’t know that about him, but it explains a lot. Where I live, I am surrounded by “work” at home government employees with secure jobs or retired government employees with secure pensions. They will remain in excellent financial shape, so a lockdown is no skin off their nose.

If it's just now lifting then it is far too soon to draw any conclusions about whether it accomplished it's purpose.

Even in a strict lockdown about 20% of society remains functional as "essential" services. We can't completely lock down for months because people need to live. They need food, they need utilities, they need medical care, etc.

At what cost? Until that is known no success can be claimed.
