Why is it the far right responses are consistently nothing more than parroting the president containing ZERO actual information without a single thought of their own that may advance the discussion? See how that works? I have read many posts from the both sides that are filled with insults towards those who disagree with them. Stupidity is bipartisan.
Talk about MAKING MY POINT for me! I've been on this site for many years, and patterns become very OBVIOUS. The point I made is something so common (and virtually always on the side of Leftists) that I'm reminded in almost every thread.
I've posted thousands of entries, complete with citations to be clicked for verification & deeper explanation. They are simply IGNORED. Nobody ever bothers to respond, probably because if the post is long enough to make a case, 99% of CD won't even START to read it. So I don't bother with that very much. But I'm always tempted to do it anyway. For many years, I hoped to dig out WHAT LEFTISTS ARE THINKING - hoping that disagreements could be worked out by clarifying facts vs misconceptions, and identifying the fundamental beliefs underlying opinions.
For instance, on the abortion issue I do not agree with conservatives / religious people. But I do understand where the fundamental belief difference is: they believe there is a "soul" that exists at conception, and that has the full worth of a human life. I don't believe that. I think a 2-celled zygote is just that - no soul, no consciousness, no perception of pain - but it does have the potential to become a human being if conditions & luck coincide. I'm aware that during the growth process before birth, the fetal brain does reach a point where pain can be sensed (though it takes time to develop to the point that the adverse stimuli would be experienced as "pain"). Similarly, consciousness develops in the fetal brain. These two milestones are what I consider key points in balancing the right of the mother to privacy & control over her body, and the right of the fetus to continue developing & be born. So I conclude that Roe v. Wade is the best possible compromise, with the State giving the mother the right to abort in the 1st trimester, with more protections to the fetus in the 2nd trimester, and strong protections to the fetus in the 3rd trimester (when consciousness & pain perception have developed in rudimentary form).
It is frigthening to see how many Trump supporters are completely detached from reality. It scares me to think these people are allowed to walk the streets given their mental state.

President Trump told us that the mail in ballots would provide opportunity for massive voter fraud. He knew to prepare ahead of time that it would have to be exposed. Leftists are never going to believe you. They will call you loony, tell you to get help, declare their guy the winner. They likely don't even want the votes investigated. Mind games is the fake news media's tactics. The left have been attacking President Trump and his supporters for the past five years, they won't believe the truth, or even want the truth, so let them learn it themselves. Some Biden controller had a copy made at Staples, or some such place, with President Elect on it. It will fool their dummy followers, but the smart ones won't fall for it.
