During oral arguments on California v. Texas, the much-hyped case in which a group of states led by Texas is trying to overturn the law, also known as ObamaCare, Justices Brett Kavanaugh, John Roberts and even Samuel Alito assailed the Trump administration and red state lawyers on their arguments that the individual mandate cannot be excised from the rest of the law under the "severability" doctrine.

Meanwhile, Justices Clarence Thomas and Amy Coney Barrett seemed suspicious that the red states, whose lawsuit led to the politically charged hearing on Tuesday, even had the standing to bring their suit in the first place.

Now this doesn't necessarily mean the court will ultimately side against the Red States but it's a strong indication that it ain't going to be pretty. I mean, it was a beating for Trump Inc.

Good.

They had both chambers and the WH from 2017-19 and did nothing. Lysol Man has been touting his new wonderful plan for years and nothing ever materialized there either.

Team Red didn't have the guts or brains to scrap and replace or simply empower the free market by getting out of the way. Now it looks like we're stuck with the majority if not all that remains of Obamacare.

Spend it like a rock star, my socialist friends!

What?

Team Blue doesn't want to gloat over this one?

All 3 of Trump's justices aren't very sympathetic thus far to his case.

I find it interesting and am glad but...you are disappointed that your trolling didn't result in your intended effect

I don't gloat.
