That does seem foolish of Georgia, really.
To allow people who moved to the state after the General Election of Nov. 3, and allow them to vote in the subsequent run off for a state office in January?
Not forward thinking. There's a loop hole I'd guess they'll fix speedy quick when they get the chance.
Of course, as everyone can notice, this would ALSO ALLOW REPUBLICANS TO DO THE EXACT SAME THING.
So there you have it. Not an advantage for democrats.

I find it hard to believe that people in significant numbers would move for the sake of a run off election. The chance that the GOP will find ways to reduce or eliminate voting stations in locations that lean Democratic preventing them from voting is much easier to believe, they did it before.
It's completely legal if they move here before the reg deadline of Dec 7 for this election. This is a free country, people can move to different places if they want. However, choosing to move somehere just to participate in an election seems rather silly to me, I doubt very many people will do this.
How would we know if they actually moved? What proof is required? Will Democrats block and oppose any checks to see if these people actually moved? If they "move back" (which as I understand GA voter registration law would make their registration void) will Democrats oppose removing those votes? Is this how you think democracy is supposed to work?
It's very telling and shows more than getting votes. It shows a disrespect for the state of Georgia in that it advocates outsiders coming in and influencing their election. It also shows they just look at voters as a rubber stamp for their desired policy. It's not about what is best for Georgia but the DNC agenda.

This runoff law actually originated as a Jim Crow law that was designed to prevent blacks from getting elected since it was harder for them to attain an outright majority in most elections.
