Deutsche Bank is proposing a 5% income tax added on to those who work from home. They argue that they are saving money by not commuting, needing to buy less work clothes, and not eating out at work as much. The money would pay those who lost work from Covid.

It seems like we should want people to work from home and not tax it. Less contacts for covid, less pollution from fossil fuels, more time at home after commutes are erased, etc.

Hey Deutsche Bank, how about we tax banks more instead to pay those who have trouble finding work?

The socialist views these workers as depriving the State of its rightful tax revenues. Get ready for the same here in the USA if the Dems start writing tax laws again.

The elites start getting a little skittish when their revenue dwindles down to 7 digits.

What a bunch of a-holes. Policy makers and lobbyists should be sitting around tables trying to figure out how to lower taxes, not how to tax/spend more.

It begins. The state must get it's money to help pay it's cushy pensions and pay for the debt it has racked up.

If they move to an all digital currency there will be no stopping this. All part of The Great Reset and plan Biden.

This is similar to people buying fuel efficient cars and then getting hit with an added tax because they are not buying as much gas which impacts tax revenue.

You watch the dems try and sneak something like this in - probably under the guise of national security.

That is just terrible!! Some people who are working from home are doing so at a pay cut in order to keep their business afloat…. My husband who half remote/half office is working without getting distributions (Partner) which is a huge loss for us....
I told my husband that the Dems are looking for total government control. He laughed at me. I am scared I am going to end up being correct. Not everyone wants to live off the government.
