Politicians always understate the true cost. When they say $7 trillion, expect it to be like 30 trillions. Worst, they never finish it. Look like the CA high speed rail.

It’s called door-in-the-face conditioning. You shoot high then settle for something else than what you would have originally gotten passed. I’m pretty sure most presidents including Trump have used a similar strategy to get things passed. Would love a revolutionary bill like that but in this economy until Covid is eradicated and the dream fo the Roaring 20s happens I don’t see it getting passed at all.
